This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02517) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human P2RY6, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with P2RY6 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The product of this gene belongs to the family of P2 receptors, which is activated by extracellular nucleotides and subdivided into P2X ligand-gated ion channels and P2Y G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor, which is a G-protein coupled receptor, is responsive to UDP, partially responsive to UTP and ADP, and not responsive to ATP. It is proposed that this receptor mediates inflammatory responses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode different protein isoforms.
DPABH-02517 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-02517 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
