This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27885) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human OTX1. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The encoded protein acts as a transcription factor and may play a role in brain and sensory organ development. A similar protein in mouse is required for proper brain and sensory organ development and can cause epilepsy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-27885 is suitable for use in IF (immunofluorescence) (1:20–1:100) application. DPABH-27885 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
