This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16182) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human OTX1, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with OTX1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The encoded protein acts as a transcription factor and may play a role in brain and sensory organ development. A similar protein in mouse is required for proper brain and sensory organ development and can cause epilepsy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
DPABH-16182 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-16182 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
