General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05256) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human OXNAD1, targeting the amino acid region 1–312 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. OXNAD1 (Oxidoreductase NAD-binding domain containing 1) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted intracellular protein featuring an NAD-binding domain, suggesting a potential role in redox biology or metabolic regulation. Although its precise enzymatic activity has not been experimentally confirmed, proteins with NAD-binding motifs are typically involved in oxidation–reduction reactions, energy metabolism, or cellular detoxification processes. OXNAD1 is thought to function as a regulatory or accessory factor in redox-related pathways rather than as a primary metabolic enzyme. Expression analyses indicate that it is broadly expressed across multiple tissues, implying a general cellular role. However, its specific biochemical function, substrates, and physiological significance remain poorly characterized and largely inferred from domain structure and sequence homology.
DPABH-05256 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000) application.
DPABH-05256 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
