General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15008) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NDUFS1, targeting the amino acid region 524–727 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human NDUFS1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. NDUFS1 is a human gene located on chromosome 2q33.3 that encodes the NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase core subunit S1, a 75 kDa iron-sulfur protein essential for the function of mitochondrial complex I in the electron transport chain. This protein, also known as the complex I 75 kDa subunit, facilitates the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, initiating oxidative phosphorylation and ATP production in mitochondria. As the largest subunit of complex I, it forms part of the iron-sulfur (IP) fraction and is believed to contribute to the active site where NADH oxidation occurs.
DPABH-15008 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-15008 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
