General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-14320) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against mouse NQO1, targeting the amino acid region 201–274 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NQO1 from human and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Enables NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) activity and NADH:ubiquinone reductase (non-electrogenic) activity. Involved in several processes, including protein polyubiquitination; response to lipopolysaccharide; and vitamin K metabolic process. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of catalytic activity; response to caloric restriction; and response to oxidative stress. Is active in cytoplasm and nucleus. Is expressed in heart; liver; main olfactory bulb; olfactory epithelium; and skin. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in several diseases, including hematologic cancer (multiple); hypertension; lung disease (multiple); macular degeneration; and small cell carcinoma. Orthologous to human NQO1 (NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 1).
DPABH-14320 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-14320 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
