This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11029) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MYL6, targeting the amino acid region 1–151 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human MYL6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Myosin is a hexameric ATPase cellular motor protein. It is composed of two heavy chains, two nonphosphorylatable alkali light chains, and two phosphorylatable regulatory light chains. MYL6 (Myosin light polypeptide 6), encodes a myosin alkali light chain that is expressed in smooth muscle and non-muscle tissues. Expression of MYL6 is high in fibroblasts and myoblasts (PMID:8188229, PubMed:2304459, PMID:2722814).
DPABH-11029 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:200–1:800), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-11029 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
