This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18520) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MYL6. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MYL6 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Myosin is a hexameric ATPase cellular motor protein. It is composed of two heavy chains, two nonphosphorylatable alkali light chains, and two phosphorylatable regulatory light chains. This gene encodes a myosin alkali light chain that is expressed in smooth muscle and non-muscle tissues. Genomic sequences representing several pseudogenes have been described and two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene. DPABH-18520 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application. DPABH-18520 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
