This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22410) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MYH11, targeting the amino acid region 1–406 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MYH11 (Myosin Heavy Chain 11) is a gene that encodes the smooth muscle myosin heavy chain, a motor protein crucial for smooth muscle contraction in tissues like blood vessels and the gastrointestinal tract. Mutations in this gene are associated with familial thoracic aortic aneurysms/dissections and patent ductus arteriosus, while specific rearrangements cause acute myeloid leukemia.
DPABH-22410 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-22410 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
