General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05214) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human LIN28A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with LIN28A from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a LIN-28 family RNA-binding protein that acts as a posttranscriptional regulator of genes involved in developmental timing and self-renewal in embryonic stem cells. The encoded protein functions through direct interaction with target mRNAs and by disrupting the maturation of certain miRNAs involved in embryonic development. This protein prevents the terminal processing of the LET7 family of microRNAs which are major regulators of cellular growth and differentiation. Aberrant expression of this gene is associated with cancer progression in multiple tissues. DPABH-05214 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application. DPABH-05214 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
