General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04141) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LPIN1, targeting the amino acid region 667–889 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with LPIN1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. LPIN1 (Lipin-1) is a multifunctional protein-coding gene, highly expressed in adipose tissue, skeletal muscle, and liver, crucial for lipid metabolism and energy homeostasis. It functions as both a phosphatidic acid phosphatase (PAP) enzyme (converting phosphatidic acid to diacylglycerol) and a transcriptional co-activator for PPARγ and PPARα. LPIN1 is critical for triglyceride synthesis, autophagy, and mitochondrial function, with its deficiency causing severe, recurrent rhabdomyolysis.
DPABH-04141 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) applications.
DPABH-04141 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
