This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04311) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human KTN1, targeting the amino acid region 1201–1300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KTN1 from rat, mouse, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is a member of the kinectin protein family. The encoded protein is primarily localized to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. This protein binds kinesin and may be involved in intracellular organelle motility. This protein also binds translation elongation factor-delta and may be involved in the assembly of the elongation factor-1 complex. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants of this gene.
DPABH-04311 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-04311 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
