General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13943) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KIAA0317, targeting the amino acid region 73–337 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human KIAA0317 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. KIAA0317 is a protein-coding gene identified through large-scale cDNA sequencing efforts (KIAA project) and encodes a predicted intracellular protein with limited functional characterization. It does not contain well-defined catalytic domains, suggesting a potential role as a regulatory or scaffolding protein involved in protein–protein interactions or intracellular signaling networks. Based on sequence conservation, KIAA0317 is preserved across vertebrate species, indicating an evolutionarily conserved biological role, although its precise molecular function remains unknown. Expression profiling suggests it is broadly expressed across multiple tissues, but without strong tissue specificity. At present, no definitive biochemical pathway or disease association has been established for KIAA0317, and its functional annotation remains largely computational, inferred from domain predictions and homology-based analyses.
DPABH-13943 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
DPABH-13943 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
