This product (Catalog No. DPABH-11280) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human IST1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with IST1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a protein with MIT-interacting motifs that interacts with components of endosomal sorting complexes required for transport (ESCRT). ESCRT functions in vesicle budding, such as that which occurs during membrane abscission in cytokinesis. There is a pseudogene for this gene on chromosome 19. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. DPABH-11280 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:40–1:200) applications. DPABH-11280 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
