This product (Catalog No. DPABH-08625) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human INSL3, targeting the amino acid region 21–131 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. INSL3, also known as insulin-like factor 3 or relaxin-like factor, is a peptide hormone encoded by the INSL3 gene on human chromosome 19p13.11, belonging to the insulin-like hormone superfamily that includes insulin, relaxin, and insulin-like growth factors. Primarily synthesized in Leydig cells of the testes during fetal and postnatal life, with additional expression in ovarian theca cells, INSL3 functions as a circulating hormone that regulates key aspects of reproductive physiology, most notably mediating the intra-abdominal descent of the testes via its interaction with the G protein-coupled receptor RXFP2 (also called LGR8) on the gubernaculum.
DPABH-08625 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-08625 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
