General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18589) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human IMPDH1, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with IMPDH1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, rabbit, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene acts as a homotetramer to regulate cell growth. The encoded protein is an enzyme that catalyzes the synthesis of xanthine monophosphate (XMP) from inosine-5'-monophosphate (IMP). This is the rate-limiting step in the de novo synthesis of guanine nucleotides. Defects in this gene are a cause of retinitis pigmentosa type 10 (RP10). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-18589 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test) applications.
DPABH-18589 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
