This product (Catalog No. CPBT-55829RH) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PDGFB. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PDGFB from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PDGFB (platelet-derived growth factor B) encodes the B chain of platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), a secreted mitogenic cytokine that regulates cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. PDGFB can form homodimers (PDGF-BB) or heterodimers with other PDGF subunits and exerts biological effects by binding to receptor tyrosine kinases such as PDGFRB, activating downstream signaling pathways including RAS/MAPK, PI3K/AKT, and PLCγ. PDGFB plays important roles in embryonic development, vascular maturation, wound healing, and connective tissue maintenance. Aberrant PDGFB expression or gene rearrangements have been implicated in tumorigenesis, particularly in certain soft tissue tumors and hematologic malignancies, where autocrine or paracrine PDGF signaling promotes pathological cell growth and angiogenesis.
CPBT-55829RH is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:3000), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
CPBT-55829RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
