General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CPBT-54880RH) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human IRGM, targeting the amino acid region 51–150 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with IRGM from mouse, rat, and dog. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the p47 immunity-related GTPase family. The encoded protein may play a role in the innate immune response by regulating autophagy formation in response to intracellular pathogens. Polymorphisms that affect the normal expression of this gene are associated with a susceptibility to Crohn's disease and tuberculosis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. CPBT-54880RH is suitable for use in ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) application. CPBT-54880RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
