This product (Catalog No. CPBT-26629RH) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human BAIAP3, targeting the amino acid region 1056–1187 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human BAIAP3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Bai1 associated protein 3 (BAIAP3) is also named as BAP3 and KIAA0734, and belongs to the unc-13 family. It has the function of retrograde transport of endosomes to the Golgi apparatus. BAIAP3 may regulate behavior and food intake by controlling calcium-stimulated exocytosis of neurotransmitters including NPY and serotonin and hormones like insulin (PMID:286260000). CPBT-26629RH is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications. CPBT-26629RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
