General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-07166) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HOXB7, targeting the amino acid region 1–120 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene is a member of the Antp homeobox family and encodes a protein with a homeobox DNA-binding domain. It is included in a cluster of homeobox B genes located on chromosome 17. The encoded nuclear protein functions as a sequence-specific transcription factor that is involved in cell proliferation and differentiation. Increased expression of this gene is associated with some cases of melanoma and ovarian carcinoma. DPABH-07166 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:200) application. DPABH-07166 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
