This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28522) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HNRNPC, targeting the amino acid region 16–85 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HNRNPC (Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein C) is a ubiquitously expressed RNA-binding protein that is a core component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complex. It binds pre-mRNA through RNA recognition motifs and plays a central role in pre-mRNA processing, particularly in regulating alternative splicing and preventing aberrant exon inclusion by masking cryptic splice sites. HNRNPC also contributes to mRNA stability, nuclear export, and overall RNA metabolism. Dysregulation of HNRNPC has been linked to altered transcriptome profiles and has been implicated in cancer progression, immune regulation, and viral infection, underscoring its importance in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
DPABH-28522 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-28522 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
