This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15454) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HMGB3, targeting the amino acid region 1–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HMGB3 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of a family of proteins containing one or more high mobility group DNA-binding motifs. The encoded protein plays an important role in maintaining stem cell populations, and may be aberrantly expressed in tumor cells. A mutation in this gene was associated with microphthalmia, syndromic 13. There are numerous pseudogenes of this gene on multiple chromosomes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
DPABH-15454 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-15454 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
