General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02744) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GPC4, targeting the amino acid region 351–450 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GPC4 from rat, mouse, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans are composed of a membrane-associated protein core substituted with a variable number of heparan sulfate chains. Members of the glypican-related integral membrane proteoglycan family (GRIPS) contain a core protein anchored to the cytoplasmic membrane via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol linkage. These proteins may play a role in the control of cell division and growth regulation. The GPC4 gene is adjacent to the 3' end of GPC3 and may also play a role in Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome. DPABH-02744 is suitable for use in flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test) application. DPABH-02744 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
