General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04007) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GNA11, targeting the amino acid region 1–359 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human GNA11 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GNA11 is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes the guanine nucleotide-binding protein subunit alpha-11 (Gα11), a subunit of heterotrimeric G proteins essential for signal transduction across cell membranes. Located on the short arm of chromosome 19 (19p13.3), the gene spans approximately 30 kilobases and consists of 7 exons. Gα11 belongs to the Gq/11 family of alpha subunits, which couple with G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) to activate downstream effectors, primarily phospholipase C-beta (PLC-β), thereby mobilizing intracellular calcium and influencing pathways that regulate calcium homeostasis, cell proliferation, and apoptosis in tissues such as the parathyroid, kidney, skin, and eye.
DPABH-04007 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-04007 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
