This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12115) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GALNT14, targeting the amino acid region 405–552 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GALNT14 from rat and mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GALNT14 (Polypeptide N-Acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 14) is a 552-amino acid type-II Golgi membrane protein that initiates mucin-type O-linked glycosylation, playing a key role in cancer progression, metastasis, and chemoresistance. Overexpressed in cancers like breast and ovarian, it acts as a, prognostic biomarker, promoting tumor aggressiveness, multidrug resistance (e.g., P-gp regulation), and lung-specific metastasis.
DPABH-12115 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-12115 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
