This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02730) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FZD8. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FZD8 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This intronless gene is a member of the frizzled gene family. Members of this family encode seven-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for the Wingless type MMTV integration site family of signaling proteins. Most frizzled receptors are coupled to the beta-catenin canonical signaling pathway. This gene is highly expressed in two human cancer cell lines, indicating that it may play a role in several types of cancer. The crystal structure of the extracellular cysteine-rich domain of a similar mouse protein has been determined. DPABH-02730 is suitable for use in IHC (1:25–1:100) application. DPABH-02730 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
