General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28821) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ERp29. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ERp29 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a protein which localizes to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It is a member of the protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) protein family but lacks an active thioredoxin motif, suggesting that this protein does not function as a disulfide isomerase. The canonical protein dimerizes and is thought to play a role in the processing of secretory proteins within the ER. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. DPABH-28821 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), WB 1 (500-1:2000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-28821 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
