General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00712) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ERP29, targeting the amino acid region 40–261 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ERP29 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Endoplasmic reticulum resident protein 29 (ERP29) is a 29-kDa endoplasmic reticulum (ER) luminal protein. Structurally ERp29 is related to protein disulfide isomerases (PDI). However, it lacks the thioredoxin motif, suggesting that this protein does not function as a disulfide isomerase (PMID: 15500441). ERP29 plays an important role in the processing of secretory proteins within the (ER), possibly by participating in the folding of proteins in the ER. The secretion of thyroglobulin (TG) was found to be strongly regulated by ERP29 (PMID: 16380091).
DPABH-00712 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF-P (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications.
DPABH-00712 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
