General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26154) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ENPP2, targeting the amino acid region 564–863 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene functions as both a phosphodiesterase, which cleaves phosphodiester bonds at the 5' end of oligonucleotides, and a phospholipase, which catalyzes production of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in extracellular fluids. LPA evokes growth factor-like responses including stimulation of cell proliferation and chemotaxis. This gene product stimulates the motility of tumor cells and has angiogenic properties, and its expression is upregulated in several kinds of carcinomas. The gene product is secreted and further processed to make the biologically active form. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
DPABH-26154 is suitable for use in IHC (1:20–1:200) application.
DPABH-26154 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
