This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26690) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human eIF4E3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with eIF4E3 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E type 3 (eIF4E3) is a specialized, evolutionary conserved isoform of the eIF4E cap-binding family, acting as a tumor suppressor by regulating cap-dependent translation. It functions under stress conditions, specifically when the mTOR pathway is inhibited, and is not regulated by 4EBP1. DPABH-26690 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), ELISA (1:10000) applications. DPABH-26690 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
