General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03804) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human EEF1A2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with EEF1A2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes an isoform of the alpha subunit of the elongation factor-1 complex, which is responsible for the enzymatic delivery of aminoacyl tRNAs to the ribosome. This isoform (alpha 2) is expressed in brain, heart and skeletal muscle, and the other isoform (alpha 1) is expressed in brain, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. This gene may be critical in the development of ovarian cancer.
DPABH-03804 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-03804 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
