This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25298) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human DPEP1, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with DPEP1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a kidney membrane enzyme involved in the metabolism of glutathione and other similar proteins by dipeptide hydrolysis. The encoded protein is known to regulate leukotriene activity by catalyzing the conversion of leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4. This protein uses zinc as a cofactor and acts as a disulfide-linked homodimer. DPABH-25298 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications. DPABH-25298 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
