General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16558) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DPEP1, targeting the amino acid region 17–411 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Dipeptidase 1 (DPEP1), also known as renal dipeptidase, membrane dipeptidase, or dehydropeptidase I, is a zinc-dependent glycoprotein enzyme encoded by the DPEP1 gene on human chromosome 16q24.3, functioning primarily as a homodimeric membrane protein that hydrolyzes a wide range of dipeptides in the kidney and other tissues. It plays a critical role in the renal metabolism of glutathione and its conjugates, converting leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4, and is implicated in the hydrolysis of beta-lactam antibiotics such as carbapenems.
DPABH-16558 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-16558 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
