This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04661) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DNAJC3, targeting the amino acid region 32–380 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human DNAJC3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. DNAJC3, also known as P58,HP58 and P58IPK, belongs to heat shock protein family,which is a kind of conservative molecules that expresses extensively in cells of human and animals and protects cells against all kinds of damage. As a cochaperone of BiP that an HSP70 molecular chaperone located in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum(ER), DNAJC3 plays a crucial role in ER protein folding and the UPR(unfolded protein response) (PMID:10597629; PMID:25466870). Studies reported that DNAJC3 related several diseases such as osteosarcoma, widespread neurodegeneration, diabetes mellitus, sensorimotor neuropathy, ataxia, sensorineural hearing loss and short body stature(PMID:30652414; PMID:28940199).
DPABH-04661 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-04661 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
