General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04476) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DDX41. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with DDX41 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure, such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of the DEAD box protein family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the DEAD box protein family and interacts with several spliceosomal proteins. In addition, the encoded protein may recognize the bacterial second messengers cyclic di-GMP and cyclic di-AMP, resulting in the induction of genes involved in the innate immune response.
DPABH-04476 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:200), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:100), IP (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-04476 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
