This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26608) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CLCN7, targeting the amino acid region 597–805 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CLCN7 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The CLCN7 gene encodes the ClC-7 chloride transporter, crucial for maintaining acidic environments within cells, particularly for osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. Located in late endosomes/lysosomes, this Cl-/H+ antiporter is essential for bone remodeling. Mutations in CLCN7 cause severe osteopetrosis (brittle bone disease) and lysosomal storage diseases.
DPABH-26608 is suitable for use in ELISA, IHC, Western blot (WB) applications.
DPABH-26608 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
