This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03517) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CKMT2, targeting the amino acid region 57–419 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CKMT2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CKMT2 (Creatine kinase S-type, mitochondrial), also known as s-MtCK, is one of the creatine kinase (CK) isozymes that are tightly coupled to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) output via adenine nucleotide transport proteins or carriers, making it an important player in ATP synthesis and respiratory chain activity (PMID: 38172162). Enhancing Ckmt2 expression or activity can protect against myocardial injury caused by ischemia-reperfusion injury (PMID: 39457679).
DPABH-03517 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-03517 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
