General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13216) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CDC20B, targeting the amino acid region 1–192 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CDC20B (Cell Division Cycle 20B) is a protein-coding gene that is closely related to the canonical cell cycle regulator CDC20, but its precise biological function remains less well defined. It is thought to be involved in cell cycle–associated processes, potentially acting in regulatory pathways linked to mitotic progression or ciliary function depending on cellular context. Some studies suggest that CDC20B may be expressed in multiciliated epithelial cells and could play a role in centriole amplification or ciliogenesis, distinguishing it from the classical CDC20, which primarily regulates the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) during mitosis. However, its molecular partners and mechanistic roles are still not fully characterized. Overall, CDC20B is considered a putative cell cycle- or cilia-associated regulatory protein with emerging but incomplete functional annotation.
DPABH-13216 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-13216 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
