This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18340) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CARS, targeting the amino acid region 1–353 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CARS from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CARS (cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase) is a protein-coding gene, and is affiliated with the lncRNA class. Diseases associated with CARS include inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, and adrenocortical carcinoma, and among its related super-pathways are Cytosolic tRNA aminoacylation and Generic Transcription Pathway. GO annotations related to this gene include cysteine-tRNA ligase activity and protein homodimerization activity. An important paralog of this gene is CARS2.
DPABH-18340 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IHC (1:250–1:1,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications.
DPABH-18340 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
