This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25117) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CAPZA2, targeting the amino acid region 1–286 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CAPZA2, officially known as capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit alpha 2, is a protein-coding gene in humans located on chromosome 7q31.2 that encodes the α2 subunit of the CapZ heterodimeric protein complex, which plays a critical role in regulating actin cytoskeleton dynamics by capping the barbed ends of F-actin filaments to control their polymerization and length. This function is essential for maintaining cellular structures, including the sarcomeric Z-lines in muscle cells and broader cytoskeletal organization in non-muscle tissues.
DPABH-25117 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-25117 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
