Neurofilament is intermediate filament which expressed in nerve cells. And the protein consists of three subunits, 200 kDa, 160 kDa and 6.8 kDa. These subunits exist in phosphorylated form in axonal transport. This antibody reacts with the 200 kDa and 160 kDa subunits, and further the antibody is useful for research of neurodegenerative disease.
