General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16465) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human BRCA2, targeting the amino acid region 210–388 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. BRCA2, also named as FACD and FANCD1, is involved in double-strand break repair and/or homologous recombination. BRCA2 may participate in S phase checkpoint activation. Defects in BRCA2 are a cause of genetic susceptibility to breast cancer (BC) which also called susceptibility to familial breast-ovarian cancer type 2 (BROVCA2).
DPABH-16465 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:500–1:2,000) applications.
DPABH-16465 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
