This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04697) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human BMPR2, targeting the amino acid region 28–100 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with BMPR2 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. The ligands of this receptor are members of the TGF-beta superfamily. BMPs are involved in endochondral bone formation and embryogenesis. These proteins transduce their signals through the formation of heteromeric complexes of two different types of serine (threonine) kinase receptors: type I receptors of about 50-55 kD and type II receptors of about 70-80 kD. Mutations in this gene have been associated with primary pulmonary hypertension, both familial and fenfluramine-associated, and with pulmonary venoocclusive disease.
DPABH-04697 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-04697 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
