This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27260) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human BMPR1B, targeting the amino acid region 16–57 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human BMPR1B from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. BMPR1B (Bone morphogenetic protein receptor type-1B) is also named as CDw293. BMPR1B belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. BMPR1B is on ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. BMPR1B is receptor for BMP7/OP-1 and GDF5. BMPR1B Positively regulates chondrocyte differentiation through GDF5 interaction. DPABH-27260 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications. DPABH-27260 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
