General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27728) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP6V1G3. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ATP6V1G3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. ATP6V1G3 is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes the G3 subunit of the V1 domain of vacuolar H+-ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme complex essential for proton translocation and acidification of intracellular organelles such as lysosomes, endosomes, and synaptic vesicles. This acidification process, powered by ATP hydrolysis, supports critical cellular functions including protein sorting, receptor-mediated endocytosis, zymogen activation, and maintenance of synaptic vesicle proton gradients. The V-ATPase consists of a peripheral V1 domain, which includes the ATP-hydrolyzing catalytic site with subunits like A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H, and a transmembrane V0 domain responsible for proton conduction; ATP6V1G3 specifically contributes to the structural integrity and regulatory aspects of the V1 complex as one of three G subunit isoforms.
DPABH-27728 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:100) applications.
DPABH-27728 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
