This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16336) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human APOBEC2. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with APOBEC2 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. Enables cytidine deaminase activity and identical protein binding activity. Involved in positive regulation of gene expression via chromosomal CpG island demethylation. Acts upstream of or within cytidine to uridine editing. Predicted to be active in cytoplasm and nucleus. DPABH-16336 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-16336 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
