General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23542) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AP4E1, targeting the amino acid region 951–1136 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AP4E1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. AP4E1 (Adaptor Related Protein Complex 4 Subunit Epsilon 1) is a protein-coding gene that forms a crucial part of the heterotetrameric Adaptor Protein Complex 4 (AP-4). AP-4 is responsible for vesicle formation and cargo sorting at the trans-Golgi network (TGN), particularly in establishing proper protein localization in neurons and epithelial cells. Mutations in this gene cause severe neurodevelopmental disorders.
DPABH-23542 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-23542 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
