General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04609) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human AMIGO1, targeting the amino acid region 224–493 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human AMIGO1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. AMIGO1 is a brain-enriched transmembrane immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily protein with six extracellular leucine-rich repeats (LRR) and a single immunoglobulin-like (Ig) domain (PMID: 21938721). It is widely expressed in the central nervous system (CNS), and can be found in neurons, astrocytes as well as oligodendrocytes. AMIGO1 acts as a homophilic adhesion molecule that induces outgrowth and fasciculation of neurites in central neurons (PMID: 12629050). It has been reported that AMIGO1 is a glycosylated protein, the apparent molecular weight (70-80 kDa) is much higher than the predicted molecular size of AMIGO1 (55 kDa) (PMID: 12629050; 21938721; 22056818).
DPABH-04609 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) application.
DPABH-04609 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
