General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04917) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACADVL. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. This acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase is specific to long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. A deficiency in this gene product reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. DPABH-04917 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. DPABH-04917 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
