This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18280) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ACADL, targeting the amino acid region 31–130 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ACADL from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family, which is a family of mitochondrial flavoenzymes involved in fatty acid and branched chain amino-acid metabolism. This protein is one of the four enzymes that catalyze the initial step of mitochondrial beta-oxidation of straight-chain fatty acid. Defects in this gene are the cause of long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (LCAD) deficiency, leading to nonketotic hypoglycemia. DPABH-18280 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications. DPABH-18280 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
